Today, I asked someone who I admire greatly for some advice over a copyright issue and received a lovely email back with lots of advice. She also asked me to let her know when I post new pieces of mine on flickr. Then she asked if I was going to the Stitching Show at the NEC in Birmingham this year so she could come and bug me.

I’m absolutely stoked! I’ve been a fan of Mimilove forever for some time now and I’m excited to meet an inspiration (and hopefully, a few others of mine there too!). A lovely lady!

A Facebook friend posted this video earlier: Sir George Martin, his son Giles, and Dhani Harrison listening to “Here Comes the Sun.” Dhani switches on the guitar solo George Harrison recorded but which never made it into the final mix — for obvious reasons, I think, but still. So cool to hear it.
